Today’s Promise is Hebrews 10:19-22 NKJV:
“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
Devotion:
The Holiest is a real place, and Jesus has given us access to it so that, “Where I AM, there you may be also.” Our Father wants to spend time with us, and without this time with Him, we cannot be equipped for spiritual warfare. And we need to be equipped. Only our refusal to submit to the process of sanctification will keep us from approaching the throne of God. But, trust me, nothing on this earth, including our will or pride, is worth more than being in His manifest presence.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your Son to part the veil, that I might worship at Your feet. Help me to humble myself before You and submit my will to You completely, in Jesus’ name, that I might visit you every day and bask in Your glory. Amen.
