Today’s Promise is 1 John 5:13 CJB:
“I have written you these things so that you may know that you have eternal life — you who keep trusting in the person and power of the Son of God.”
Devotion:
I don’t think John ever imagined how many people his words would inspire and encourage when he wrote them. For all he knew, he was writing to just a handful of believers. We all have a testimony to share. How many people will come to you in Heaven and say to you, “Thank you so much for sharing your story with me! I’m here because of you!”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You so much for giving me a testimony. Thank You for giving me something to talk about. Help me to meditate on Your goodness day and night, in Jesus’ name, until it bubbles up inside of me and I can no longer contain it. Don’t let me be a Jesus hoarder. Amen.
