Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Isaiah 12:1 CJB:
“I thank you, Adonai, because, although you were angry at me, your anger is now turned away; and you are comforting me.”
Devotion:
Sometimes it’s hard for us to let go of our anger and forgive. It seems the greater we are wronged, the longer it takes. How blessed we are to have a Heavenly Father who is so slow to anger and so quick to forgive. And not only forgive, but to comfort us in our grief and regret. If you’ve ever wondered if God could forgive you, don’t. Not only is He able and willing, He is waiting to take you in His arms and comfort you. Don’t wait.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I don’t deserve Your love and forgiveness. But Your love for me is greater than all my wrongs. Please, forgive me for the many times I have hurt You, in Jesus’ name, and in my gratitude, let me live to please You and bless my brothers and sisters, whom You also dearly love. Let me be Your arms of comfort to them. Amen.
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
