Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Genesis 22:16, 17 NKJV:
“By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.”
Devotion:
What a blessing this was, for Abraham! But it was only a shadow. Our Father will do the same for us–if we are willing, as Abraham was, to sacrifice our most precious possession to God. When we can honestly say that nothing on this earth, not even life, means more to us than the Lord, we will see the heavens open like never before. When we hold back nothing from God, He will hold back nothing from us.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I surrender all to You, in Jesus’ name. All that I am, and all that I ever will be. All that I have, and all I ever will have, I give to You. Pour out Your blessing, Lord, and multiply the seed You give me to sow, that I may glorify You on earth as You are in Heaven. That others may see You and live. Amen.
