Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Isaiah 30:20 NKJV:
“And though the Lord gives you
The bread of adversity and the water of affliction,
Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore,
But your eyes shall see your teachers.”
Devotion:
It is written, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” Proverbs 9:10. Yet, so many Christians deny the sovereignty of God. This is why so many remain spiritually blind, never enjoying personal encounters with Jesus or experiencing the wonders of Heaven, or miracles on earth. True faith is trusting God, even when He doesn’t act according to our definitions of “good” and “bad.” When you can exercise that childlike faith, the doors of Heaven will open to you, and you will see Jesus face to face. Are you willing to trust a God who gives you the bread of adversity?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I believe. Help me in my unbelief. Grant me the grace to love You as You are, not for what I want You to be. Lord, I surrender to You, fill me with all of Your fullness, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
