Today’s Promise is Jeremiah 33:6 NKJV:
“Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.”
Devotion:
The world would have us believe that God is an angry, vengeful god, because He doesn’t work according to their will. But this promise is the true heart of God. This is His will. For each of us individually, and collectively as the Body of Christ. How He accomplishes this is entirely up to Him. It’s one thing to acknowledge Jesus as your Savior. It’s quite another to worship Him as your Sovereign King. The glory of God is His goodness. This in itself is reason to worship Him.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I may not always understand why You do what You do, but I believe You are good always! Thank You for the healing You bring. Thank You for Your revelation and abundance of peace and truth. Open my heart, Lord, that I might receive it to the full, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
