Today’s Promise is Psalm 24:7 NKJV:
“Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.”
Devotion:
What kind of gate has a head that can be lifted up? A floodgate! If you want more of God and His glory in your life, lift up your head! When your eyes, ears, thoughts, and all of your senses (the doors to your heart) are focused on God, He will come in like a flood, filling you until there is no room left for the enemy. Showing you “great and mighty things you do not know!”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You are the King of Glory! You are strong and mighty! You are strong in battle, and You command legions! I want more of You, Lord. Give me a hunger and thirst for You that makes all other desires fade away. Fill me with Your glory, Lord, in Jesus’ name, until I can hold no more. Amen!
