Today’s Promise is Mark 9:23 NKJV:
“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’”
Devotion:
We tend to believe what we hear the most. The media bears witness to this. While we have God’s Truth in the Word, and His Holy Spirit, we also have the enemy flapping his big mouth at us everywhere we turn, trying to drown out God’s Truth with his lies. We have to make a choice–sometimes moment by moment–to whom we will listen. What comes out of our mouths will reflect who we are choosing to listen to–who we are choosing to believe.
What are you believing is possible today?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please give me the courage to act on Your Truth, that my faith and the faith of those who see might be strengthened and increased. Help me believe, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
