Blessings!
Today’s Promise is Micah 7:19 CJB:
“He will again have compassion on us,
he will subdue our iniquities.
You will throw all their sins
into the depths of the sea.”
Devotion:
No matter how willing our spirit is, our flesh is prone to fatigue, low blood-sugar, hormones, stress … you name it. Becoming more like Christ is just that, becoming. It’s a process. And when we mess up, not if but when, our Lord loves nothing better than to hear us admit it with a truly contrite heart. He loves it because it is then that He can show us His infinite grace in forgiveness. He loves it because a pliable heart is easily molded into His likeness.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your great compassion and grace. Please help me to acknowledge my mistakes quickly and turn them over to You, in Jesus’ name, that I may become more like You. Amen.
