Today’s Promise is 1 Samuel 2:9 NKJV:
“He will guard the feet of His saints, But the wicked shall be silent in darkness. ‘For by strength no man shall prevail.’”
Devotion:
How is that for a promise when you feel completely powerless, unsure, or confused about the path you should take? The enemy has all kinds of ways to get you off the right path. Like pressure, fear, and stress. The challenge is not to go charging in blindly, hoping for the best, but instead, to seek and wait on God’s leading. If we don’t hear Him telling us which way to go, He probably wants us to “be still, and know that He is God.”
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, reveal any hidden sin in my life that may hinder my hearing Your voice. Cleanse me of all iniquity, Lord, and then teach me to wait on You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
