Today’s Promise is Proverbs 16:2 NKJV:
“All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the spirits.”
Devotion:
The world can rationalize the most heinous behavior, from genocide to sexual depravity. But there is only one Truth. Jesus Christ. If we truly want to be free and walk in truth, we must abide in Him constantly seeing things through His eyes. Only then can we avoid falling for a lie that will cost us our souls.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, teach me Your ways, in Jesus’ name, and let me walk in Your paths. Write Your Word on my heart and let me see all things through Your eyes, that I may judge rightly, and glorify You always. Amen.
