Today’s Promise is Proverbs 28:20 CJB:
“A trustworthy person will receive many blessings, but one rushing to get rich will not go unpunished.”
Everything on earth belongs to God–including money. He knows exactly what we need and is faithful to provide. God commanded His children to celebrate His provision for them before they ever entered the Promised Land. They were to do this by observing His appointed times, beginning with Pesach (Passover). He knew He was more than capable of providing for and blessing His children, even going as far as commanding the observance of Shemittah and Jubilee years, when debts would be forgiven and the land would rest. The economy would reset, and the focus would return to God as our provider. God knows He is God. The question is, do we? Faith in His provision frees us to focus on Him. It frees us to look to the needs of others and become good stewards of all He gives us, sowing into His Kingdom. The more we are faithful with, the more He will entrust to us. And we will always have all we need.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your provision. Thank You for overseeing my wealth and that Your storehouses will never be affected by the world’s economy. Help me be a good steward of all you bless me with, in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
