Today’s Promise is Isaiah 60:2 CJB:
“For although darkness covers the earth and thick darkness the peoples; on you Adonai will rise; over you will be seen his glory.”
Devotion:
You don’t have to look far to see the darkness covering the world. Just as prophesied, evil is praised and goodness is vilified. The good news is that the Light of the World has come, and darkness cannot exist in the presence of Light. Now is the time to turn our focus, our passion to Christ. To knowing Him and being filled with His Spirit, that the light of His glory may be seen upon us, drawing the nations to His love and salvation. Are you ready to be His light to the world?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your beautiful gift of Salvation! Your Son, showing us the way back to You and putting His light in us, that we may show others the way. Help me shine for You, Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
