Today’s Promise is Titus 2:11, 12 CJB:
“For God’s grace, which brings deliverance, has appeared to all people. It teaches us to renounce godlessness and worldly pleasures, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives now, in this age;“
Devotion:
The Word of God is our compass. It shows us the Way to eternal life, and there is only one way. God’s Way. Once any human being deviates from God’s Way, even by the smallest degree, they are no longer on the Way to eternal life. If they continue in their deviation, they will end up somewhere else entirely. Regardless of current opinion, which changes with the slightest breeze, God’s Word remains firm. We, who have received God’s grace, have been given eyes to see the true path. It is our duty to know what God calls good and what He calls evil, and to uphold the good, even when the nations rage against us. There are those in the world who are searching for the Way. If we aren’t diligently following God’s compass on the Way to eternal life, who will they follow?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please help me to walk as Your Son walked on this earth, in Jesus’ name. Let it never be said of me, “I would have never guessed she was a Christian!” But let me hold fast to Your commands, helping my brothers and sisters along the Way. Amen.
