Today’s Promise is John 14:27 NIV:
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Devotion:
This is the peace that comes when God’s Word comes off the page, takes root in your heart and motivates your every word and action. This is the peace that comes when you surrender your ideas of who God should be, and let God be God. This is the reality you are called to walk in. Rest in Him and receive His peace.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I may not understand why You do some of the things You do, but I know You love me, and I believe that all things work together for my good. Teach me to walk in Your peace, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
