Today’s Promise is Romans 13:12 NKJV:
“The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.”
Devotion:
With every day, the return of the Lord draws nearer. Now is the time to pursue the heart of Christ and clothe ourselves with His righteousness, to abide in Him continually. Relationships take time to build, and spiritual maturity doesn’t happen overnight. If we are not making the effort to keep our lamps filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit now, we will walk in darkness–and we will be in the dark when our Bridegroom arrives.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, our time here is short. Let me not waste my time pursuing worldly things that are passing away and can never fulfill me. Fill me with Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name, and make me a beacon in a dark world, drawing others to Your Light. Amen.
