Today’s Promise is Proverbs 2:7 NKJV:
“He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk uprightly.”
Devotion:
There is a big difference between being right and being upright. Only in humility can we walk uprightly. For there is only One who is right. When we humble ourselves in His sight, He will lift us up!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You alone are my righteousness. Please make me ever mindful of this, in Jesus’ name, so my pride will not prevent me from walking uprightly before you. Whenever I have the choice between being right and being love, help me choose love. Amen.
