Today’s Promise is Hebrews 6:19-20 NKJV:
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”
Devotion:
Jesus has opened the way for us to not only enter into God’s presence, but live there, having the God’s presence dwelling in us constantly. If we believe Jesus is our High Priest, we should expect nothing less, and we should pursue that intimacy above all else. Your Father truly wants to be with you! Have you entered the Presence behind the veil?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, it amazes me that You gave so much, so I could dwell with You again. Not just in the sweet-by-and-by, but today! I want to be with You, Lord, to see Your face and hear Your voice. Help me, in Jesus’ name, to walk in the steps of my High Priest so that I can. Amen.
