Today’s Promise is Nahum 1:3 NKJV:
“The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.”
Devotion:
No force in heaven, on earth, or below the earth is beyond the authority of the Lord, our God. Storms may rage around us with all their fury, but they will never move God from His purpose in us. Even the storms in our lives will submit to our Most High God, and accomplish His will in and for us. We can rest beneath His mighty wing, for He is right there with us, commanding the wind. Are you trusting God in your storm?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I glorify You for Your sovereignty. I thank You for Your tender love and care for me, sustaining me in the midst of Your mighty power. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
