Today’s Promise is Psalm 121:3 NKJV:
“He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.”
Devotion:
I love how the Complete Jewish Bible puts it, “Your guardian is not asleep.” In fact, He never takes His eyes off of His own. Jesus is a “stone of stumbling” to those who refuse to have faith. But when we choose to trust in Him, He becomes the Rock on which we stand. As long as we remain on the Rock, we need never worry about losing our footing. Stand firm on the Rock!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You so much for being my Rock and my Guide. Help me keep my eyes on You, in Jesus’ name, that I might not be tripped up by the tricks of the enemy. In You alone will I put my trust. Amen.
