The New Church Rising!

Not Just Covered

Blessings, Family,

It has been a while since I received what I call a heavy-weight message for the church. I’ve learned that even when God seems “quiet,” He is still busy, fulfilling all the things He has shown me in the past. I’ve come to trust in His timing and praise Him for His faithfulness, even in the quiet.

Last month, Monday, July 11, 2022, to be exact. I was blessed with a very powerful dream. It was a message for the church, and it didn’t differ from previous messages. In fact, it goes hand-in-hand with them. I realize that some may disregard these messages as gloom and doom, but I assure you, it’s quite the opposite. The Lord is telling us to prepare for what is coming, that we may remain strong in Him and come though victorious.

Adonai, God, does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7 CJB

The Vision

In this vision, I went to talk to a pastor and his elders. They had purchased a church that had failed and were in the process of renovating it to use as their own. I told this pastor that God had his own renovation plans for the church. I told him God was going to level the church to the ground. As I spoke, I saw a bulldozer moving over the ground, clearing and leveling it like a new building site. I told him God was going to build up a new church, free from the hands of any man. God would build His new church supernaturally and needed no help from men to do it. I saw God doing this as I spoke, and it was thrilling!

But the pastor and his elders looked at me like I was crazy. They clearly did not believe me. They were perfectly confident in their own abilities. They had a plan, and they were going to stick to it.

I tried to explain that the ground on which the church sat was cursed, and only God could make it right. Only God could build His church. But their expressions remained smug and even condescending.

Next, I tried to explain how demons had been drawn to the church by pride and fear and had taken ownership. That the congregation would be plagued by them. The pastor was very amused by this. I guess he wasn’t a big believer in the spirit realm. He asked me if this was true, how could I survive demon attacks.

Then the Holy Spirit filled me with power and spoke through me, saying with all authority and faith, “No demon can stand against me!”

The thrill of that tangible presence of God’s power in me brought me out of the dream, but it still gives me chills thinking about it.

The Call

I can understand some people’s reluctance, or even fear of God’s renovation plans for the church. We crave the comfort of the familiar. We want to feel safe. But God hasn’t called us to be safe and comfortable. He has called us to trust and obey Him.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NKJV

God is faithful to the faithful, and He rewards His faithful servants generously. For me, the thrill of watching God be God, knowing that He loves me and keeps me in His tender care, would be reward enough. But I know there is so much more to look forward to!

The church as we know it will soon be no more. What God began with Jesus’ disciples, has been corrupted, and no amount of strict rules, rock concert worship services, or potlucks can save it. God is building His new church, His Spirit fully indwelling hearts that are yielded to Him.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19 NKJV

The church God is building will be sealed tight in His Holy Spirit, and the gates of hell will not prevail over it.

I urge you, beloved. Don’t wait until the bulldozer shows up. Prepare your hearts now. Turn away from worldly doctrine and practices and seek the Lord your God with all of your hearts, souls, minds, and strength, with prayer and fasting. Give the Holy Spirit free reign over your lives and let Him make you a holy vessel to carry the presence and glory of God.

God’s new Church is being built with living stones. That’s us!

“As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him—you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:4-5 NKJV

Notice that even the Living Stone was rejected by humans. So, don’t be surprised if, like as happened in my vision, you are not taken seriously in your calling. This is precisely why no human hand can have a part in this building project.

“Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” Zechariah 4:6 NKJV

God is building His new church, and I am so excited. I encourage you, brothers and sisters, don’t be discouraged by what you are seeing and hearing around you. Keep your eyes on God. It may seem like He isn’t saying or doing much, but trust me, He is. And He knows what He is doing. He will not fail to fulfill all that He has promised. Praise Him for it! Trust in Him completely and prepare to be amazed.
