Today’s Promise is Exodus 19:5 NKJV:
“Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.”
Devotion:
We cannot hear God’s voice unless we stop talking and start listening, and we cannot keep His covenant unless the Holy Spirit himself reveals it through His Word. It’s time for God’s people to stop letting other people and their traditions tell them who God is and get to know Him for ourselves, seeking Him with prayer, fasting, and His Word. If we are His treasure, we must learn to live to make Him shine. We must learn to let Him shine through us!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me to seek You above all else, in Jesus’ name, that every facet of my life reflects Your beauty and draws the world to Your love. Amen.
