Promise of the Day: Being with Jesus

Take Your Seat

Today’s Promise is John 12:26 NKJV:

“If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”

The word “follow” here is akoloutheo in Greek. It means not just to follow, but to join. Our walk with Christ is meant to be continual, just as Jesus’ disciples walked with Him on earth. Today, Jesus is seated at the right hand of God, and even as His Spirit walks with us on earth, He also makes it possible for us to join Jesus in the heavenly places. Not only to experience the wonders of Heaven, but to talk with Him, worship Him, and learn from Him. This is where our spirits grow, allowing us to bring the things of Heaven, healing, deliverance, blessings, down to earth, establishing His Kingdom here and now. How do we do this? Just as Jesus did, through our obedience, and the Father’s gift of faith. Just as Jesus climbed up to the high places and Moses ascended the mountain to speak with and listen to the Father, we must make seeking God our highest priority, for He rewards those who diligently seek Him!

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Son to show me the way back to You. Let me ascend to Your Holy Place as I press into You each day. Teach me to operate in the Spirit realm, and let me worship at the feet of my Savior daily,. .  in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Have a victorious day in the Lord!
