Today’s Promise is 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV:
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
Devotion:
Would someone on the street recognize you as a royal priest? Do you wear your garments of praise and thanksgiving when you go out, or even in your own home? Do your spouse, your children, your friends, or even strangers look at you and say, “Wow! I want what they have!”? We were never intended to blend into the world. We are called to reflect the glory of the Creator of the world. And the more time we spend with Him, the more real that will become.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, let me ever be mindful of who You are and what You have done for me, in Jesus’ name. Let me never forget who I am in You. And help me make spending time with You a priority in my life. Amen
