Promise of the Day: Mr. Charm

Blessings!

Today’s Promise is 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 NKJV:

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.”

Devotion:

Attending or belonging to a church doesn’t guarantee you are being fed the Truth. The purpose of the true Gospel is not to make us feel good, but to transform us into the likeness of our Savior, that He may be glorified. In these last days, false teachers and prophets abound, teaching things that may sound wonderful, but have nothing to do with the truth. Satan doesn’t draw us in with bitter herbs, but with honey. Only by pressing into the Lord, spending time meditating on His Word, and waiting on Him, will we learn to recognize our Shepherd’s voice. And knowing His voice, we will also know a lie when we hear it!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I want to know Your truth. You have said that Jesus is the Truth, therefore, I want more of Jesus. Fill me more with Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name, and help me let go of more of me. Let me hear Your voice and help me discern Your Truth from the lies of the enemy–no matter how much it hurts. Amen.

Have a victorious day in the Lord!
