Today’s Promise is Revelation 21:5 NKJV:
“Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.'”
Devotion:
The Lord never does the same thing the same way twice. He is a creative God. He defies ritual and tradition. Only by knowing Him intimately can you know what He is doing and trust in His creativity. If you really want a new start, put aside your own plans, seek the Lord’s will for your life … and be prepared to be blown away.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please help me to let go of my preconceived ideas of who You are. Teach me who You really are and who I am in You, in Jesus’ name. Help me to trust in Your ways, whether I understand them or not. Make me new, Lord. Make me who You created me to be. Amen.
