Today’s Promise is Matthew 18:19 NKJV:
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”
Devotion:
The one constant in every outpouring of the Holy Spirit since the Day of Pentecost is unity. Not merely unity as a group, but unity with God, through Christ. We must be one mind, bound and led by the Holy Spirit if we are to bring change in any situation and the world as a whole. But it must be the mind of Christ. And He is more than willing to give us just that, if we will only ask.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for granting us Your wisdom and knowledge through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help me to seek You and yield to You in all situations, Lord, and teach me to wait on You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
