Today’s Promise is Romans 1:17 NKJV:
“For in it (the Gospel) the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’”
Devotion:
The Gospel of Christ is more than words on a page to be read and meditated on, though both of these things are important. Just as the Word became flesh in Christ Jesus, so must the Truth of His Word become alive in our hearts, aligning our words and actions to His will. Stepping out in faith manifests the Word–His realities–in our lives. And the more obedient we are in living out His Gospel, the more we can be entrusted with.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me to draw near to Your heart, that the knowledge I have in You can empower me to walk out Your Truth on earth, glorifying You here as You are in Heaven, and drawing others to Your beautiful light, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
