Today’s Promise is Psalm 37:5 CJB:
“Commit your way to Adonai; trust in him, and he will act.”
Devotion:
Our Father creates each of us with the talents and abilities to fulfill our purpose on earth and bring Him glory. But, unless we draw near to Him and seek Him above all else, we may never know what that purpose is. His plan for you is far beyond anything you can imagine for yourself! So much better than stumbling through life on your own, hoping you get something right. And you need never fear that His will for you will not bring you joy and fulfillment, because He doesn’t give us passions to stick in a closet and collect dust. The desires of your heart are gifts from Him, and He alone knows how to bring them to fruition. Make up your mind today to let God take the wheel. Then buckle up and get ready to drive some roads you never knew existed–and create a few new ones!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me to trust in You. You know the plans You have for me, and You are more than capable of making them happen, to Your praise and glory! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
