Blessings!
Today’s Promise is James 5:11 NKJV:
“Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.”
Devotion:
Feeling blessed when you are in the midst of a trial is not a natural reaction. It is a supernatural act. It is vital that we cultivate an attitude of praise and worship at all times if we are to be true warriors in God’s Kingdom, striking fear into the heart of the enemy, and taking back territories and people from him in the name of Jesus. Focusing on God’s faithfulness and goodness will get our minds where they need to be. Speaking His faithfulness and goodness will bring His presence and power. Pearls are not formed without friction, nor is gold refined without fire. Let us be thankful that God has counted us worthy to be sanctified.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I will praise You in the storms, because I know You are training me up to be what You created me to be. I know You will never give me more than I can handle, that You go before me, Your glory is my rearguard, and Your reward is great. Be glorified in me, Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Have a victorious day in the Lord!
