Promise of the Day: Take Your Seat

Take Your Seat

Blessings!

Today’s Promise is Ephesians 2:4-6 NKJV:

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”

Take Your Seat

Devotion:

This isn’t future tense. Paul didn’t say, “will make us sit,” but “made us sit.” We are alive with Christ, and we are seated in the Throne Room, but so few believers walk in that reality. It is only from the Heaven that we can establish God’s Kingdom on earth, because that is where God is, and He alone has all we need to defeat the enemy. It is in the heavenly places that the real battles are fought and won. Have you asked Jesus to show you to your chair in the Heavenly places?

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, You are merciful! Thank You for loving me so greatly! Please forgive my sin and cleanse me of all iniquity,  in Jesus’ name, that I might kneel before Your throne and walk with You always. That I may become the warrior You created me to be, taking all the territory You have given me, and sitting with You in the Holy of Holies. Amen.

Have a victorious day in the Lord!
