Today’s Promise is Joel 2:28 NIV:
“And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.”
Devotion:
This amazing outpouring began on the day of Pentecost, and hasn’t ended yet. In fact, it is increasing as the day of the Lord approaches and will surpass what we have ever seen or read about. These are the gifts that bring God’s Kingdom to earth, and God wants to pour them out on you, that the world would see His glory and be drawn to Him. This is our birthright as children of God, and our Father is waiting for us to press in to Him and receive! Are you asking? Are you seeking? Are you knocking?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, pour out Your Spirit on me, in Jesus’ name. Pour out Your gifts on me as I pursue you with all my heart, that I may minister Your grace to those who need You so desperately. Make me a conduit for Your healing and restoring power, that others might know Your love and truly live! Amen!
