Today’s Promise is Psalm 37:39 NKJV:
“But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble.”
Devotion:
Most people who know me would never think to call me a wimp. But that is just what I am. Any strength you may see in me is not me at all, but He who lives in me. I am so thankful to my Lord and Savior every day for being my Strength and my Righteousness. Even more so, I am thankful that He does not condemn me for being a wimp, but delights in my dependence on Him! If you are feeling like a wimp, weak and ineffective, take heart. You are in the perfect position to witness the power of the Living God.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my Strength, my Shield, and my Salvation. Help me to trust in You completely, in Jesus’ name, to accomplish the good work You have begun in me. Amen.
