Promise of the Day: All Sufficient

Today’s Promise is John 17:15 NKJV:

“I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.”

It would be nice to be taken out of this evil world, but that’s not why Jesus came. And, no, He didn’t leave us behind to get slapped around by Satan and his minions. Before Jesus left, He gave us authority over ALL the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). But that’s not all. He also called on His Father to give us back-up! Think about it. If one-third of the angels fell from Heaven, that leaves two-thirds on our side. Yes! Remember when you pray, to release the hosts of Heaven to war on your behalf and to minister according to God’s will and purpose and to surrender to the Holy Spirit for wisdom and guidance.

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me so much that You would fully equip me inside and out to conquer the enemy and take back all he has stolen from Your people. I stand on Your promise, and I surrender fully to the Holy Spirit and loose the hosts of Heaven to war on my behalf and to minister according to Your will and purpose, in Jesus mighty name! To You be the glory! Amen!

Have a victorious day in the Lord!
