Promise of the Day: Defense!

Defense!

Blessings!

Today’s Promise is 2 Corinthians 2:10, 11 CJB:

“Anyone you forgive, I forgive too. For indeed, whatever I have forgiven, if there has been anything to forgive, has been for your sake in the presence of the Messiah so that we will not be taken advantage of by the Adversary — for we are quite aware of his schemes!”

Defense!

Devotion:

We are called to be peace keepers, so we must learn to look beyond the person causing us grief, to the spirit using that person to put a stumbling block in our path. We must stop fighting our brothers and sisters, and take the battle to our true enemy! We all have weaknesses the enemy can use against us and others. Don’t get angry with one another, get angry with Satan! The sooner we recognize his handy work, the sooner we will forgive, unify, and kick some demon tail!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, open my spiritual eyes and grant me the spirit of discernment, that I may see beyond the weaknesses of my brothers and sisters and take a stand against our common enemy. The victory is Yours, oh Lord. Help me walk in Your victory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Have a victorious day in the Lord!
