Today’s Promise is Psalm 91:15 NIV:
“He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.”
Devotion:
This stanza begins, “Because he has set his love upon me . . .”
If you aren’t hearing from God, maybe it’s time to ask yourself what your love is set on. How can you know? The clues lie in what you think about first thing in the morning. What fills your thoughts throughout the day, and as you lay down to sleep? There are many things and people in the world vying for your passion. Not one will reciprocate like our God.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me to set my affections on You, in Jesus’ name, because You alone are worthy. You love me like no other. Help me to love You the same. Amen.
